Brl Thermometers
Feel free to download and use the Brl Thermometers program. Freely distribute it.
The program installs in your My Documents folder. It has 5 options:
Option 1: A total of 6 Braille pages. 5 pages containing 2 thermometers per page, plus a page with questions that can be used.
These files are not are immediately embossed, but are saved as .b r f in a Files folder located files in your: \My Documents\Brl Thermometer Files\Files folder.
DO NOT TRANSLATE! Just OPEN using your commercial Braille translation program and EMBOSS.
Make booklet of the thermometers for future use with other questions you or students make up.
Option 2: All features of Option 1, plus a corresponding print copy is IMMEDIATELY printed.
Good option to provide a print copy so that non-Braille reading individuals can help the Braille reader with the worksheets. Duplicate the print copies and pass along to student's Math teacher. This will help to keep the Braille reader engaged in class and provide opportunities for Braille reading student to help non-Braille reading students with their work.
Option 3: No Braille files are created or saved, instead print 'print' copies are IMMEDIATELY printed.
Non-Braille reading students need extra practice too!
Option 4: A set of Braille thermometers with tick marks and scale, but without the 'fill', are created and saved to your My Documents folder.
Good for all kinds of thermometer activities.
Option 5: A set of print thermometers with tick marks and scale, but without the 'fill' are IMMEDIATELY printed.
